This school year began a new era in technology at our school. Through the hard work of parents, students, teachers, administrators, and our community we were able to open a state of the art computer lab! Our school purchased thirty-two new Apple computers for our media center. The students have embraced the challenge of technology and have shown such enthusiasm when coming to the lab. I have to say that the Web itself has proven to be our most valuable tool. Our students have learned how to search, bookmark, add to toolbar, retrieve old information, and add new tabs in order to find the information they need. Those are just a few of the things we have accomplished as a whole this school year. I'm very excited for the future of our students and seeing them grow as Technauts!
